| Spartacvs opened for business on the 1st September 2007, and has quickly attracted many gay men from around the world. The hotel is a move away from the typical Balinese style and has been designed to the highest standards, using unique pieces of glass and art work, with large mirrors around the pool and restaurant areas to enhance the beauty of this boutique hotel. There is complete privacy and quietness from the outside street, so guests can freely walk around the hotel grounds with little or no clothing. From the moment you check in at reception and receive your complimentary membership card, you will be dazzled by the bold colors surrounding you. Your first glimpse of the hotel after reception is the large fish pond, which you cross over before entering the hotel grounds. Once inside your experience of a life time begins, you will be offered a cool 'welcome drink' outside your room as you slowly take in the grandeur of the hotel grounds, then marvel at the bright bold colors of your room, decorated with selected glasswork and paintings, the majority of the en-suite bathrooms are roofless over the shower, commonly known as 'outside bathrooms' which can be a welcome relief from hot stuffy bathrooms, and even more enjoyable when it rains. Once the sun sets, the hotel is a maze of controlled dimmed lighting, showing the unique colors of Burgundy and Grey, with fairy lights placed in strategic positions in the trees around the pool and restaurant area.
The Pool Side Bar is open from 10am till 6pm where you can relax and sunbath on a lounger all day long with "easy listening" background music. A great place to meet your fellow guests and make new friends. We have 2 Deluxe & 1 Superior Pool Side Rooms which have their own private verandas and are are directly in front of the pool and Jacuzzi, where you can sit and read a book or just watch the passing parade. Tours can be arranged at reception to visit such places as Ubud for traditional arts & handicrafts, Monkey Forest, Royal Temple, Balinese Dances, Active Volcanoes, White Water Rafting, Elephant Rides, Bird Park & Zoo, Culture Centre's and Souvenir Shopping. |
